Washington Post Article Concerning Lender Standing

Today’s Washington Post features an article concerning the increased willingness of judges nationwide to dismiss foreclosure proceedings because the plaintiff lenders cannot demonstrate that they have the right to foreclosure.  This trend is the product of millions of U.S. mortgages having been shuttled around the global financial system – sold and resold by firms – without the documents that traditionally prove who legally owns the loans.   Follow this link to the article.
